The Onion Lake RCMP requested for public assistance in locating 30-year-old Ryan Harper, who is from the Onion Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. Police confirmed through a media release that Harper was located and arrested in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan in the early morning of October 31, 2022.
“He was arrested without incident and is scheduled to appear in court in Lloydminster at a future date,” stated police. “RCMP detachments who assisted with the arrest include Lloydminster, AB, Kitscoty, AB, Maidstone, SK and Onion Lake, SK.”
According to a release, Harper has an arrest warrant issued by the Onion Lake RCMP for his involvement in an armed robbery with a firearm on October 10, 2022. Police stated he also has an outstanding Canada-wide warrant for his arrest.
