Traffic along the Trans-Canada Highway in B.C.’s Southern Interior is flowing once again after being stymied earlier Tuesday.
During the morning hours, DriveBC reported a crash at Townley Street and the east boundary of Mount Revelstoke National Park, resulting in the highway being closed east of Revelstoke for 26.4 kilometres.

However, DriveBC also reported a much larger closure along that stretch of the Trans-Canada at the same time — east of Sicamous to Golden, a total distance of 188.1 km. The closure was due to a vehicle incident in Glacier National Park.

But by the afternoon, traffic was moving once again.
