Calgary man dead after head-on crash near Manor: Sask. RCMP

One person is dead following a head-on crash around one kilometre east of Manor, Sask., according to RCMP.

The two-vehicle collision was reported at roughly 8:05 a.m. on Monday and happened on Highway 13.

Carlyle RCMP said on Tuesday that their investigation determined a SUV and a semi tractor-trailer collided.

A 31-year-old man, who was the lone passenger of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released but police said he was from Calgary.

The driver of the semi received minor injuries, according to a press release.

Highway 13 has since re-opened to both directions of travel.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is involved in the ongoing investigation.

Manor is approximately 205 km southeast of Regina.
