Canada election results: Kitchener South—Hespeler

Global News is projecting Valerie Bradford has been elected as the Liberal MP for Kitchener South—Hespeler, edging out Conservative candidate Tyler Calver by 947 votes.

Bradford replaces Marwan Tabbara, who was first elected in 2015 as a member of the Liberal Party, and was re-elected in 2019. In 2019, he held off a strong challenge from Conservative candidate Alan Keeso, whose brother Jared is the creator and star of Letterkenny.

Tabbara currently sits as an Independent MP after stepping down from the Liberal caucus in 2020 after being charged with assault, break and enter and criminal harassment.
