Conservative candidate Jacques Gourde is the projected winner in the riding of Lévis—Lotbinière.
Lévis—Lotbinière is located southwest of Quebec City along the St. Lawrence River.
First created in 2003, Lotbinière—Chutes-de-la-Chaudière changed its name to Lévis—Lotbinière in 2015.
This riding includes Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon, the regional county municipality of Lotbinière and part of the city of Lévis.
While this riding is largely francophone, a significant portion of the population is of Irish descent.
Conservative MP Jacques Gourde was re-elected to Lévis—Lotbinière in 2019, making it one of 10 seats that the Conservatives managed to secure in Quebec, down from 12 seats in 2015.
Gourde has held this seat since 2006, making the riding a Conservative stronghold.
