RCMP say one person was killed and two others were injured in a crash between two semi-trailers in southern Alberta on Monday.
Emergency crews were called to a head-on collision on Highway 526 between Range Roads 164 and 165, north of Vauxhall, just before noon.

RCMP said the driver of one of the vehicles, a 29-year-old Calgary man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man and child from the second vehicle were transported to hospital with minor injuries, RCMP said.
The collision caused a section of Highway 526 to be closed for several hours while police investigated.
Vauxhall is located about 85 kilometres northeast of Lethbridge.
RCMP said the name of the deceased will not be released and charges are not anticipated.
