Hamilton police are investigating three east end shootings within’ five hours, with one sending a teen to hospital.
Police are calling the first of the late-night shootings a “targeted” incident.
Investigators say officers responded to a report of shots fired around 11:30 p.m. on Monday night near Roxborough and Reid Avenues.
A 19-year-old man with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds was found in a residential area.
Police say two other shootings occurred just hours after the incident on Roxborough with one in the area of Third Road East and Ridge Road just before 1:00 a.m.
Investigators say shell casings were found on a roadway. No one was reported injured.
Around 4:30 a.m. officers responded to another shots fired call at Queenston Road and Reid Avenue where shell casings were also discovered.
It’s believed suspects may have fired several rounds at a house. None of the occupants in the home at the time were injured.
The incident is also believed to be a targeted shooting.
Officers will be out canvassing for surveillance video from all three locations on Tuesday, according to detectives.
Each shooting is being investigated as a separate incident.
