Toronto police investigating string of arson and mischief incidents in city’s east end

Toronto police are investigating a string of arson and mischief incidents on the city’s east side.

Officers say there have been five separate incidents in the Woodbine and Danforth area dating back to July 11.

The most recent was on Wednesday evening, when someone allegedly set some trash on fire and fled on foot.

On Friday, police released a description of a 36-year-old man wanted in connection with the incidents, but said on Saturday that he is no longer wanted.

Police said they continue to investigate.
