Calgary police have confirmed a 35-year-old man was shot on Saturday night.
The shooting happened on Taravista Drive N.E. just before 8 p.m.
Calgary police said the victim was in life-threatening condition when he was transported to hospital.

The shooting is believed to be an “isolated” incident and not a “random” act, police said.
Officers said multiple shots were fired.
As of 9:30 p.m. Saturday, police were still on scene investigating. At the time, neighbours told Global News they had been instructed to stay inside.
