Nanaimo RCMP says the city’s Woodgrove Centre Mall was evacuated Monday evening, due to reports of a young man with a gun.
There were no reports of shots fired, and police said no one was hurt.

Investigators located the suspect around 6:30 p.m. away from the mall.
Investigators said he remains in custody and was being held for court on Tuesday.
Police said they would provide more information on Tuesday morning.
