Two people suffering from stab wounds were airlifted out of Rocky Mountain House, Alta., on Wednesday to hospitals in Calgary and Edmonton, according to a spokesperson for STARS Air Ambulance.
On Friday, RCMP said officers were called on June 5 to a scene on 54 Street in Rocky Mountain House at 4:35 p.m. They found two injured men. A 34-year-old and a 19-year-old were taken to hospitals “with apparent stab wounds,” RCMP said in a news release.
RCMP also said Friday charges had been laid in connection with the stabbing.
Christian Coby Cutter, 21, is facing two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on June 19.

According to STARS, the 34-year-old man was flown to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton. He was considered to be in critical condition during transport.
A 19-year-old man was flown to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary. His condition is unknown.
RCMP said Friday both men were “recovering in hospitals in stable condition.”
