A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Bridgewater, N.S., Friday morning.
The Bridgewater Police Service says they were called to the King and Dufferin streets area just after 1:30 a.m.
Officers arrived to find a shirtless man on the street, covered in blood and suffering from stab wounds to his left shoulder area.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers later located and arrested Jennifer Lynn Wentzell of Bridgewater at a nearby residence.
Wentzell has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault with a weapon, and uttering death threats.
Bridgewater police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them .
