The family did not contact the police at that time but managed to lock the animal inside the apartment. The girl was reportedly taken to hospital by relatives shortly after the attack.
At around 3 p.m., the dog somehow managed to get out of the apartment. The dog then attacked the girl’s seven-year-old brother. He suffered a serious injury to his arm.
The animal was removed from the property by the police that day.
