Prime Minister Mark Carney said Thursday that Canada aims to double the capacity of Canada’s electrical grid by 2050, adding that achieving that feat “won’t be easy.” Carney said the federal government will launch consultations with provinces, territories, Indigenous groups, utility companies and unions.
