The man accused of killing a Winnipeg teen in a random home invasion has a long history of breaking and entering, according to court documents.

Ronald Chubb, 29, is the man suspected of forcing his way into a home last Sunday and attacking 17-year-old Jaime Adao.

When police arrived, they shot Chubb, who investigators believe was high on meth, several times to stop the attack.

As an adult, Chubb has been convicted about 11 times for break and enters, dating back to 2009.

Chubb was supposed to appear in court for breaching his probation on Tuesday, the documents show.

Chubb remains in hospital in critical condition but it’s believed he will pull through and be charged.
