Two separate pedestrian-vehicle collisions Wednesday sent resulted in two kids being taken to hospital.
Police said a five-year-old was listed in unstable condition after being struck by a vehicle on Burnell Street near St. Matthews Avenue around 11:30 a.m.

A 13-year-old boy was taken to hospital in unstable condition after being hit by a vehicle on Henderson Highway around noon.

Northbound Henderson at Mossdale was closed to traffic for about an hour, but police say it has since re-opened.
Winnipeg police sent out a tweet at 1:30 p.m. thanking bystanders who helped out by directing traffic, saying the “pedestrian is OK”.
