A Nova Scotia man is facing a stunting charge after RCMP say they stopped a vehicle allegedly travelling at more than 61 km/h over the speed limit on Sunday afternoon in Cape Breton.
Police say they stopped a vehicle on Highway 4 in Irish Cove, N.S., for driving 141 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

The Mounties say the RCMP officer used a radar unit to measure the driver’s speed, having just received the training to do so last week.
A 48-year-old man from the Sydney area is now facing a charge of stunting under Nova Scotia’s Motor Vehicle Act.

Police say the man’s vehicle was towed and his driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days.
If found guilty of stunting, the man could face a fine of $2,422.50.
