Below is a full list of the candidates in the riding of Cardston-Siksika, an area in the southern-most part of the province, covering Cardston, Magrath, Vauxhall and as far north as Siksika.

Carston-Siksika is a new riding in 2019, having its boundaries recently redrawn. It’s made up of the former Little Bow and Cardston-Taber-Warner districts.

Grant Hunter won the Cardston-Taber-Warner seat for the Wildrose in 2015. He now sits as a member of the UCP.

For 2019, Hunter was seeking re-election in the new riding of Taber-Warner.

History

In 2015, this riding was a contest between the Wildrose candidate and the PC candidate (41 per cent of the vote compared to 35.5 per cent of the vote, respectively).

Paul Hinman won the seat for the Alberta Alliance in 2004. The PC party won in 2008, then lost to Wildrose candidate Gary Bikman. He crossed the floor to the PC party in December 2014. Bikman failed to win the PC nomination in the riding.
