Snow removal will take place in the following nine boroughs: Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Anjou, Lachine, Mercier—Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Montreal North, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles, Saint-Laurent and Saint-Léonard.

“There’s no need to do a full operation. [There’s] not enough snow on the street and sidewalks,” said Philippe Sabourin, a spokesperson for the city.

However, each borough can choose to begin snow-clearing operations, according to Sabourin.
