Emergency responders have taken the driver of a crashed pick-up truck to hospital after her vehicle hit a traffic signal pole in Pitt Meadows Saturday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. at the corner of Lougheed Highway and Meadow Gardens Way.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to free the trapped driver.
The driver’s condition is not known, but RCMP did confirm that she is alive and expected to recover.
Lougheed eastbound was shut down to one lane while RCMP investigated, but has since reopened.
