The busy Guelph intersection of Stone Road and Gordon Street is facing a month of construction that will likely cause headaches for commuters.
Road work is expected to start on Monday, July 16 and lane reductions are scheduled for about four weeks, weather permitting.
According to a post on the city’s website, traffic should be maintained in all directions, but drivers may need to make their turns from the centre lanes and delays are expected.

Crews are installing new underground traffic signal infrastructure and will be paving the intersection as well.
Sidewalks will be open to pedestrians, but the city said delays are expected for them as well.
