Barrie police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying four suspects following an alleged armed robbery at a gas station in the city.

According to police, on Friday, June 29, just after 2 a.m., four suspects entered the Circle K Esso gas station on Mapleview Drive East in Barrie. Police say one suspect was armed with a handgun and a second suspect was armed with a knife.

Police say the suspect armed with the handgun demanded cash and cigarettes from an employee, while the other three suspects took various items from the store and placed them into bags they had been carrying.

According to police, the employee complied and the suspects fled the store on foot with cash and cigarettes.

Police say the employee was not physically injured as a result of the incident.

Police are now searching for four suspects.

Police say the first suspect is a man, in his late teens, standing approximately five-feet-eight inches to six-feet tall. He has a thin build, and was seen wearing an orange toque, red bandana covering his face, an orange glove on his right hand, a black hoodie, black jogging pants, black shoes and was carrying a black backpack and was armed with a handgun.

According to police, the second suspect is also a man in his late teens. He is between five-feet-six-inches and five-feet-eight-inches tall, with a medium build. He was seen wearing a grey shirt covering his head and face, a blue T-shirt, ripped jeans, Adidas sandals and was carrying a black bag.

Police say the third suspect is a female in her late teens. She is approximately five-feet-six-inches tall with a small build. She was seen wearing a black cloth covering her face, a two-toned blue hoodie, beige pants and brown boots.

The fourth suspect police are seeking is a male in his late teens. He is approximately five-feet-eight-inches tall, with a thin build. He was seen wearing a black cloth covering his lower face, a grey hoodie, black pants, black and blue running shoes and was carrying a backpack and a knife.
