RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Clarke says a man was shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

“We’re trying to put the pieces all together to find out the motivation behind damaging the vehicle and how that person became injured,” she said.

A red pickup truck was identified as a suspect vehicle. An officer spotted the truck, but it sped away from the scene. As a result of police pursuing the truck, two men were spotted on a wooded trail near Regent Street.
