High School Huddle catches up with curling in the Saskatoon Secondary Schools Athletic Directorate (SSSAD).

The season kicked off with 45 teams in six different leagues.

Global News starts at the CN Curling Club with the Bishop J. Mahoney Saints taking on Centennial Chargers in the girl’s ‘A’ league.

In the boy’s ‘A’ league action, there a close game between the Evan Hardy Souls and Marion Graham Falcons at the Sutherland Curling Club.

In other action, defending city champions St. Joseph Guardians took to the ice sheet against the Holy Cross Crusaders.

The ‘B’ teams will conclude their playoffs before the January exam break. Teams in the ‘A’ leagues start playoffs on Feb. 5, with the city champions crowned before the February break.
