Safety concerns force road closure in Kelowna

Part of Valley Road in Kelowna has been shut down to traffic because of safety concerns.

A section of a busy arterial road in Kelowna has been temporarily shut down because of public safety concerns.

Since October 11th, Valley Road between Kane and Yates roads had been closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Sundays, because of construction work.

Brant’s Creek is being diverted to build a retaining wall, sidewalk and road improvements.
