Nova Scotia RCMP have charged a 17-year-old man with stunting after clocking a vehicle travelling at 175 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

The incident happened at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Thursday near Point Edward, N.S.

The driver’s licence has been suspended for seven days, the vehicle was seized and he has been charged with stunting.

Stunting brings with it a $2,422.50 fine on conviction.

The driver, whose name cannot be released due to his age, is from Sydney, N.S.
