A 17-year-old boy from Hammonds Plains has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on Friday.
RCMP say the teen was a passenger in the vehicle, which lost control and overturned in a ditch on Rochester Drive.
Global News has confirmed the victim was a Grade 12 student at Charles P. Allen High School in Bedford.
The driver, also a 17-year-old boy, was arrested at the scene for dangerous driving but has not been charged. He is being treated for minor injuries in hospital.
RCMP say they are looking into what may have caused the fatal crash, including if speed was a factor and if seat belts were used.
