33-year-old man charged after alleged robbery: Halifax police

A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection to a robbery after a homeowner came home to find the man inside his home.

The incident happened on Charles Street in Dartmouth on Monday around noon.

When the 33-year-old was confronted, he left the home and the area.

The homeowner called the police and provided a description of the man, as well as what direction he left in.

Officers responded and eventually arrested the man who faces charges of break and enter, theft under $5000 and mischief under $5000.

The man has since been released on conditions.
