Before officers arrived, the employees witnessed the suspects loading a truck with property and tried to stop the thieves from leaving.
Dawson Northcott, a ranch hand, followed the truck and attempted to get the license plate. That’s when a second vehicle pulled up and fired a gun at Northcott.
The black Ford F-150 used in the robbery has been found and returned to its owner, RCMP said Friday.
Investigators have released photos of people they believe they may have information regarding the robbery.
