The Manitoba Moose losing streak continued on Saturday.
The Moose are winless in their last five straight games after they were defeated 4-2 by the Rockford IceHogs at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The win ended the IceHogs’ nine game losing skid. The Moose have three regulation losses, an overtime loss and a shootout defeat over their last five contests.
Jimmy Lodge opened the scoring in the first period for Manitoba. His fifth goal of the season was assisted by Quinton Howden and Patrice Cormier. But the IceHogs would score the next four straight goals before Brendan Lemieux scored in the final three minutes to close out the scoring.
