Who can forget the bright red swimsuits, the ripped bodies and the white sands of ’90s TV show Baywatch?

In 2017, you’ll be able to dive right back into that nostalgia when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra and others don their bathing suits for the Baywatch movie.

There’s a whole lot of slow-motion running and jumping into flaming water, at least for the The Rock, who embodies David Hasselhoff‘s iconic TV character Mitch Buchannon.

The ragtag lifeguard team is tasked with making the beach a destination again, and a criminal conspiracy (headed by Chopra’s villain Victoria Leeds) threatens to ruin their idyllic paradise.

Judging by The Rock’s propensity to save anyone in peril, we can safely assume that somehow, he’ll save the day… and the beach.

Baywatch is set for release in May 2017.
