TORONTO – The force clearly awakened for Star Wars actor John Boyega after he caught the release of the latest trailer for Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens on Monday night.
The British actor, who plays Finn in the latest film, tweeted that he was on his way home from a basketball game and hadn’t seen the trailer yet.
The 23-year-old actor said he would film his reaction to the two-and-a-half minute trailer.

In the short Instagram video, Boyega was clearly entranced while sitting on his couch watching the opening sequence of the trailer.
“Yup. Yup. Yup,” the stormtrooper actor kept repeating to himself. “What?!” Boyega shouted as he jumped over his couch and fell to the floor.

The trailer for J.J. Abrams’ film premiered during Monday Night Football on ESPN.
Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens will be released in theatres in North America on December 18, 2015.
