WATCH ABOVE: Marriage proposal from the dog’s POV
TORONTO – When Kurt Gies got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Amanda Wiseman, it was captured all on video by the couple’s dog, Roo.
Gies strapped a GoPro camera to Roo (short for Rosseau) and then proposed to Wiseman on the beach in Ocen City, NJ where the couple first met.
After Wiseman said “of course, I will!” the couple joked that it’s too bad the dog, who seemed distracted had missed the proposal. But in fact, Roo turned her head, stayed still and documented the romantic proposal flawlessly, even crying out a little when Wiseman accepted.
The couple adopted Roo from the animal shelter two years ago, and Gies wanted to include her in the surprise proposal.
At the end of the video, Gies removed the camera from Roo looked into the lens and said, “she said yes!”
