Elizabeth Hurley denies she had affair with Bill Clinton

This post has been updated to add the response from Ms. Hurley, who calls the report “ludicrously silly” and “totally untrue,” and a complete apology from Tom Sizemore, who said the tale was “the rantings of a drug addicted actor.”

TORONTO — A bombshell report posted online Wednesday claims former U.S. president Bill Clinton had an affair with British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley while in office.

Radar Online and tabloid Globe — owned by the same parent company — said the year-long romance was arranged by Hurley’s ex, actor Tom Sizemore.

The outlets obtained an audio recording of Sizemore, in a Connecticut hotel room, revealing details of the relationship.

But, on Wednesday, Hurley dismissed the report as “totally untrue.”

Radar and Globe claim Sizemore said the relationship between Clinton and Hurley began shortly after a White House screening of Saving Private Ryan in 1998. The president allegedly pulled Sizemore into the Lincoln bedroom and asked him to get Hurley on the phone.

Sizemore allegedly said Clinton took the phone and told the actress he was sending a plane for her. Within hours, she was at the White House.

“While we’re at the reception, I see her,” Sizemore reportedly said. “Bill turns to me and he goes, ‘I owe you one.'”

Radar and Globe claim Sizemore said Clinton, 67, eventually ended the tryst when he fell in love with Hurley, who is 19 years his junior.

On Wednesday, Sizemore said he made up the whole story. “I was never at the White House and I never met Bill Clinton,” he told Huff Post Live. “I’d like to apologize to [Hurley] for any hurt … or the Clintons or anybody else I may have mentioned. They were the rantings of a drug addicted actor.”

Clinton famously had an affair with Monica Lewsinsky while in the White House and has been linked to other women over the years, including Gennifer Flowers.
