SASKATOON – Emergency water main repairs on 51st Street and Confederation Drive has restricted Saskatoon traffic on Friday.

On 51st Street, eastbound lanes are restricted between Cleveland Avenue and Millar Avenue while two-way traffic is being accommodated in the westbound lanes.

There may be limited access to and from Cleveland Avenue.

Crews are also working in the inside lanes of Confederation Drive northbound between 22nd Street and the main west entrance to the Confederation Park shopping mall.

Traffic will squeeze into the curb lane for half of the block, beginning just north of 22nd Street.

Both west entrances to the shopping centre remain open.

All restrictions are expected to be lifted in the early-evening on Saturday.

The city is asking motorists to allow extra time when travelling through the orange zone, watch for pedestrians and work crews and obey all signs.
