Edmonton police’s major collision unit is investigating a collision involving a pedestrian in east Edmonton on Thursday night.
Police said a 29-year-old woman was using a crosswalk at the intersection of 90th Avenue and 50th Street, when she was struck by a vehicle.
A white SUV was blocked off, and debris was spotted in the northwest corner of the intersection in the Ottewell area.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
