Skye Bryden-Blom

Skye Bryden-Blom joined the Global News team in November 2022.
She’s a passionate storyteller who was born and raised in the Halifax area. Skye loves the community and has been telling stories here for several years. She has worked as a news anchor, host, and reporter at various radio stations including News 95.7 and Hot Country 103.5.
Skye holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) English degree from Mount Saint Vincent University, which she completed on a full scholarship in 2014. She received a diploma in Broadcast Journalism from NSCC in 2017.
When not at work, you can catch Skye hitting the gym, exploring new trails, and spending time with loved ones. You can also bet she has her camera in hand taking snapshots of the world around her.
