Jasmine King

Jasmine King joined Global Edmonton’s newsroom in August 2023.
She is from the Edmonton area, growing up just north of the city in Morinville, and graduated from the radio and television program at the NAIT in 2019.
After graduating she worked for Prime Time Local News in Lloydminster and then moved to Kelowna, B.C. for a new position at Global Okanagan in 2022.
There she worked as a video journalist reporting on a wide variety of stories throughout the valley including wildfires, flooding, crime and more.
Jasmine is excited to be back in Alberta and join the Global Edmonton newsroom.
When she’s not working, Jasmine can be found playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, and spending time with her dog, Boomer.
