Calgary police are hoping photos of two vehicles linked to a 2015 murder will elicit information from the public that could help find the suspects.

The investigation relates to a July 11 shooting in the 5300 block of Rundlehorn Drive N.E. that left Steve Sharda, 20, dead and another man seriously injured. He was taken to hospital in critical condition in July and remains in hospital Wednesday, police said.

Police said the murder is believed to be connected to an ongoing dispute between gang members responsible for a number of shooting incidents in 2015, including the Aug. 22 death of David Quach.

A grey Toyota Camry is also believed to have been involved in a related shooting on Rundlehorn Drive approximately an hour and a half before Sharda’s murder. Police believe the Camry was shot at and damaged. Investigators believe the people inside the car were involved in Sharda’s murder, but aren’t sure the nature of their involvement.
