Irish singer Sinead O’Connor caused an Internet panic on Sunday when she posted a suicidal message on her Facebook page, and now the page has been shut down after another suicidal post appeared Wednesday.

This past weekend, O’Connor claimed she had overdosed in her Ireland hotel room. Police later confirmed that O’Connor was “safe and sound” and receiving medical treatment.

O’Connor’s latest message, which ultimately led to the shutdown, said: “If a woman doesn’t first succeed… She’ll try, try again… iWantMyRightToDieAndIWillClaimIt.”

Reps for O’Connor and for Facebook have not commented.

This is not the first time the Irish singer has made threats to take her own life. In 2011, she made a series of suicidal tweets from her Twitter account. O’Connor has had a long history of mental illness and depression.
