On Tuesday, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams explained that schools weren't mentioned as part of the province's new COVID-19 early warning system because they were opened with a lot more layers of protection and health safety measures, adding that a lot of positive cases in schools were actually being picked up at home.
