Deep freeze in the Okanagan expected to hit people in the pocketbook as energy consumption spikes
Description
January 15, 2020
As the deep freeze continues its grip on the Okanagan, it's hitting some residents hard in the pocketbook. Service calls for things like frozen pipes are up significantly. plumbing and heating companies scramble to keep up. But our consumption of heat during this cold snap has also increased significantly and that too comes at a price. Klaudia van Emmerik reports.
