A rare, behind-the-scenes look at the B.C. SPCA’s only wildlife rehabilitation centre in the province
Description
March 20, 2019
It provides life-saving treatment to wildlife. Called Wild ARC, the wildlife rehabilitation centre on Vancouver Island opened 21 years ago and since then, has helped more than 45,000 animals. It's the B.C. SPCA's only wildlife rehab centre in the province and because it acts like a hospital, it's only opened to the public once a year to avoid disturbing its sick patients. Tonight on the first of our two part series, Klaudia Van Emmerik gives us a rare, behind-the-scenes look at a facility many hope is one.
