A Kelowna couple says they are facing financial ruin to repair an unstable slope on their property, which they didn’t create
It’s a massive repair job that that could save a couple’s life, but leave them in financial ruin. The City of Kelowna has ordered stabilization work of a high risk slope threatening homes in the Kirschner Mountain area.
The city says the huge bill will have to be covered by owners of the two properties where the slope is located but the residents call that unfair. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
