The Transportation Ministry is targeting end of next week to fully re-open Highway 97 near Summerland after a rockslide came down at the beginning of February
Description
February 19, 2019
Two-and-a-half weeks after it closed, we're getting an idea tonight when Highway 97 near Summerland may fully re-open. Rockslides blocked the heavily-travelled route at the beginning of the month. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the Transportation Ministry is hoping traffic will once again be flowing on the highway by the end of next week....if nothing goes wrong in the meantime.
