The Salvation Army in the Central Okanagan is hoping more volunteers step forward to be trained in the event of natural disasters

They play a critical role during natural disasters like forest fires and floods. Salvation Army volunteers provide all kinds of assistance to those who are forced to flee their homes. Now as we approach the time of year when floods and fires are possible, the Sally Ann in the Central Okanagan is appealing for more volunteers. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
