Sending your child off to school for the very first time is often nerve-wracking. But imagine if that child has special needs–for parents of those children, that can be terrifying. One Kelowna mom was so scared, she took extra steps to make sure her son would be accepted and well cared for. Klaudia Van Emmerik shares her story.
