Kelowna city council takes action against the speculation tax by drafting letter to the provincial government and proposing an alternative to a tax it believes will be detrimental to the local economy
Description
March 20, 2018
The City of Kelowna is the latest to speak out against the NDP government's real estate speculation tax. It’s hoping to convince the provincial government not to implement a tax that council believes will do more harm than good. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the city wants to meet with the Premier to discuss the potentially harmful impact here in the Okanagan.
