The groundwater flooding threat may impact thousands of Kelowna homes
Description
June 6, 2017
Emergency officials in the central Okanagan are warning the flood threat is far from over. In fact the flooding situation is expected to get worse over the next month. That's because the groundwater table takes a little more time to catch up to the rising lake level, seeping up very slowly. And as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the groundwater flood threat could impact a lot more homes than you may think.
