It was an unimaginable accident, resulting with a teenaged girl impaled by a log. Miraculously the young Penticton resident survived thanks to a massive rescue operation. Today, all of the people involved in saving Marissa Lemioer’s life came together in an emotional reunion. The event was organized by the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation to show the immense teamwork that goes into saving lives. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
